Afroprime Charity in conjunction with The National Lottery and the Government will be providing food and essential items to persons and homes in need of financial assistance.
This scheme is designed to reach anyone who is currently out of work and in need of support during this pandemic.
It is applicable to anyone over the age of 18, regardless of race, colour, religion, national origin or citizenship status, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, or military status.
Beneficiary must like in London or Essex
Process
- In order to receive our services, you must confirm that you are unemployed and in need of financial assistance. *As we do not undertake further vetting, we thoroughly rely on your honesty and request that you ONLY fill out this form if you fit the requirements that way, we can reach people who do.
- Once the form is filled out our team will vet the items requested and source them. NB* Afroprime Charity reserves to right to withhold the purchase of items we deem inappropriate. We will do our best to source out all items requested but may not be able to provide them all e.g. due to unavailability in shops.
- DELIVERIES will take place on Saturdays between 3pm – 8pm. Please ensure that there is an adult over the age of 18 to receive them. You will be required to sign a delivery confirmation form on delivery. Please note that your picture will be taken on the day
Your information is safe with us
We organise support for people who need it across London and Essex, as such we collect the details of people who need support and of the people who volunteer to provide it. The details you provide (your data) may include sensitive information. We will be using the details you give us to connect between people who need support and people who offer it. The volunteers giving and coordinating the support will have access to the data. We will do everything we can to keep your data safe and available only to those who need to use it to provide community support.
This data may be shared with the council/government as the situation progresses. If you provide a volunteer with personal information we assume you agree (consent) to it being collected and used for this purpose.
