Our Mission

At Afroprime charity we have one mission, which is to bridge the educational gap created by poverty in Nigeria. We believe that all children are entitled to exceptional educational experiences that should not be inhibited by their economic status.

Our Work

Afroprime charity is a non-profit organisation, which endeavours to improve education and experiences.

The majority of families live on £5 a week therefore it is difficult to extend to necessity required for school. This is where we step in alleviating this financial pain-point and offering additional support to improve their living standard. Afroprime thinks locally, acts locally but does not limit students’ exposure just to their locality. We provide local employment opportunities for vendors within the immediate community e.g. tailors and designers making the uniform, and source materials and equipment from local suppliers. In addition, we work with other organisations to support teachers by providing trainings and educational equipments necessary to provide exceptional experiences for the students. With your collaboration, Afroprime will not only be assisting students but also sustainably supporting local economies.

Outside of the classroom, Afroprime endeavours to foster long lasting relationships with different institutions, helping to create invaluable work experience opportunities for the students. To achieve this, we work with and foster long-lasting relationships with different institutions who help in creating opportunities for students, who in turn gain professional experience relevant to their career path and ambitions.

Afroprime operates in the highest professional standards. All our team members are trained, as it forms part of our assurance that we deliver quality service to our chosen schools. With your generous help, collaboration and contribution, as well as by leveraging our strong links with public schools in Nigeria, we promise to invest in student educational attainment and their appearance.

Afroprime is the vision of Tolulope Akinwande an advocate for students education. Through her mentoring students, she identified the link between educational performance and financial status and saw it as a niche way to bolster a conducive learning environment. With much zeal she championed a team and imparted the vision. Afroprime is ambitious and striving to expand not only in Nigeria but across Africa.

Our Story

Afroprime aims to address this issue by providing supplementary necessities, which is required to enhance educational experiences and create a conducive environment suitable for learning.

Afroprime targets student who are from low-income background by providing school uniforms, equipment inevitably reducing their financial burden. We also aim to find avenues to link them with work experience and job opportunities in their local community and beyond. In addition, we support teachers by providing trainings and educational equipments necessary to provide exceptional experiences for the students.
